Harris started in goal in the first half, putting in another perfect performance and securing a clean sheet to his name. He is really becoming the rock at the back that the team builds from. Rumours are circling around also that he may be announced as the new club captain!

Taylor started at CB, and had a career best performance, he was strong, solid and secure holding up the defensive line for a lot of the game. That meant wingbacks, Hepworth and Cooney could get up and down the touchline, getting involved in the game. Hughes stayed up top trying to get out of AFC Average's defenders' back pockets!

In the second half, Harris came out field, swapping for Fawkes, who was unlucky to be one-on-one with an AFC Average striker who was clinical in his finish to get the first scores on the board, 1-0.

Hughes was being marked out of most of the game by AFC Average, however he still managed to break free and bag a goal to his name, assisted by Hepworth in the second half, to bring the game to 1-1. At the very end of the match, in the dying minutes of the game, AFC Average looked sure to be on goal and score again, but Fawkes came to COCFC's rescue with a double save! A save of the season contender for sure! The game ended a disappointing 1-1, so its 1 point gained from a possible 3.
