Today's away trip to Norton Canes saw a relentless Claregate side run out 12-0 winners.
? An early goal on 8 minutes from skipper for the day, Danny Jones, set the tone for what was to come with a vicious half volley from 25 yards.
? On 13 minutes Kane Lewis delivered a low corner for Rodney "Trotter" Williams to turn in.
? Debutant Si Stokes opened his Claregate goal account after running onto a Danny Jones through ball to finish well.
? Kane Lewis went on a mazy run, turning defenders left and right before squaring for Trotter to tap into an empty net on 26 minutes.
? 41 minutes in and Jon Wilson delivers a pin point cross for Trotter to nod in for his hattrick.
? A goal right on half time and an almost carbon copy of Si Stokes' first goal with Danny Jones again the provider for Stokesy. 6-0 at half time.
? John Goodwin's diving header was saved well by the keeper but Ben Bickley was first to react and slot home on 49 minutes.
? Carlo Bandiera found space and time on the right to cross to Si Stokes who finishes with ease to complete a debut hattrick on 55 minutes.
? Carlo Bandiera again down the right causing havoc and plays a through ball into the path of Kane Lewis who slots one home on 65 minutes.
? on 69 minutes Jon Wilson has time in the box to pick out Trotter who finishes easily for his 4th.
? Danny Jones again providing an assist as he plays a through ball for Trotter to finish clinically for his 5th of the game on 74 minutes.
? on 86 minutes Jon Wilson bagged a deserved goal when Danny Jones crosses from deep and Jon leaves the keeper with no chance with a well placed header.
An excellent team performance with the ruthless Trotter grabbing man of the match but an excellent debut from Si Stokes and top drawer perfomances from Danny Jones and Carlo Bandiera. Subs involed were another debutant Nicolai Parfeni, Ashley James and Ste Ashwin.
