The final pre season friendly ended in a 4-0 win for CPR against Beehive FC ensuring the 100% home record stayed intact.
A Josh Hodson corner was met by "Tommo" 6 yards out with a neat header to open the scoring.
Rodney "Trotter" Williams then forced a mistake from the Beehive defence with Claregate putting high pressure on the back line, Trotter beat the keeper from 8 yards.
Trotter was then able to find space and pick a pass through to Ste Cater who cut inside from far left and finish inside the far post.
The 2nd half saw Beehive improve defensiveley but it wasn't enough when Trotter met the ball with a half volley finish from 25 yards with the outside of his boot in the pick of goals to make it 4-0.
Beehive did have a chance to get back into the game with a 2nd half penalty only for keeper Beale to watch the attempt go high and wide.
Other players involed were Ste Haycock, Andrae Brown, Danny Rai and Jon Wilson.
MOTM went to Marc "Tommo" Thomas for his solid midfield display although stand out performances from Trotter, skipper Woppy and Dale.
