Teddington Athletic U13 Dy 0 vs 5 Chipstead Youth U13 Whites

In a fixture that is normally a closely fought contest, Chipstead totally dominated the opposition to get back to winning ways.

In a one sided first half Chipstead took the lions share of possession and quickly were in the lead from a well taken strike by Nathan.

A series of other shots followed which were either just wide, saved by the Teddington keeper or blocked through deperate defending.

Chipstead added to the score just before half time when an Ashton corner somehow eluded everyone and the ball hit the far post before nestling in the back of the goal. Chipstead were good value for a 2 goal lead at half time.

An expected Teddington fightback in the second half quickly evaporated when Chipstead went further ahead after 60 seconds of the restart. A defensive blunder let in Tiago who clinically put the ball away. Within five minutes Chipstead were further ahead went Aiden cooly shot past the advancing Teddington keeper.

Despite a series of substitutions to give all the players game time, Chipstead still managed to create chances and Nathan added to his score with another well taken goal.

At the other end Nico and the defence ensured that the Teddington strikers were limited to speculative long shots which barely troubled the Chips.

All in all, a great response by the boys after the Albury match and good preparation for our next match against Hersham.
