Yesterday's result feels like 2 points dropped... After a 7-0 win, we were unable to pick up where we left off - not doing the little things that make us as a team click.
The first half saw us kicking against the wind, the worst we've seen it all season which was a real struggle at times. Tigers took the lead after a corner was able to go all the through to a player lurking 10ft from the back post.
We created some great chances with Jamie being at the heart of most of it, dropping back to collect the ball and either driving or distributing to the front three to send them on their way.
The equalizer came when the Maltese Wizard was able to play a beautiful through ball, splitting the defenders to Joe who then picked out Luke for him to slot home. 1-1 HT
It seemed we took our foot off the gas in the 2nd half, failing to execute the simple things. Luke was CLEARLY taken out inside the penalty box but NO penalty was given!!!! Instead, the ref claimed the defender won the ball but then gave a goal kick instead of a corner!?!??? ?? Sunday league hey...1-1 FT, UTC! ??
