Cheam Rovers 3 vs 3 Dynamo Kingston Sunday

Yesterday saw the return of Cheam Rovers for the first time in over a month and the introduction of new manager Dan Lynham who was itching to get going!

We played some of the nicest football all season in the first half, testing their keeper multiple times who made save after save. We were finally able to break through after Sam's half volley strike and Matt, who was able to capitalise on a mistake to make it 2-0. Dynamo were able to grab one back shortly before half time.

The 2nd half showed how long we hadn't played as the lack of fitness really started to show. A free kick took from Si towards the half way line was able to pick out Lee who scored the best goal in Cheam Rovers history, possibly in Sunday league history. A scorpion kick from just inside the edge of the box that managed to find it's way into the top corner ??

Dynamo started to gather momentum and were awarded a penalty which Dave was able to save. A short while later DK scored their 2nd and really started to press, it wasn't until the last kick of the game they scored the equaliser, 3-3 and FT. Gutted...
