Not a great deal to report in this one, a scrappy battle against an organised team, with either side failing to create a great amount of chances.
We started the game lively, the first twenty minutes saw us playing the best football we'd played in a few games, quick pass and go stuff which was nice to watch. However, we struggled to do it in the final third and test the goalkeeper. The game seemed to go flat after that. 0-0 HT
The second half started with a spark of energy like the first, Joe coming closest - one of the chances he wishes he had again! But like the first half, we fizzled out and failed to test their keeper after Joe's chance.
Kian (no beans, anti Heinz, Mr Baked without the beans - which ever you prefer) worked his socks off in the middle and even more impressive, it was his first game back in a month. Great battling in the middle, looked like a Rob Barnes Jr ??
We battled well at times and a equal our tally of clean sheet sheets from last season two games in, 0-0 FT. We go again next week, UTC! ??
