Chadderton Park U16 Eagles 7 vs 2 Elton Sports Club

Chaddy Park Under 16 Eagles returned to winning ways with a superb 7-2 Semi-Final win against Elton Sports Club to reach the Final of the NBJFL U16's Subsidiary Cup Final.

The Eagles were on the front foot from the start and squandered a number of early chances before taking the lead. This set the tone for the rest of the game with Elton resorting to non sporting tackles to try and stem the constant Eagle attacks.

Niall Webb scoring a 10 minute hat-trick midway through the first half with Lewis Smith scoring a fourth goal just before half time to make it 4-1.

The second half was a repeat of the first half the Eagles dominating the play and the possession and tearing through the Elton defence at will.

Ethan Chiappe with a close range volley made it 5-1 after great work from Josh Yates and Michael Cassidy,

Elton scored an own goal when their defender could only deflect the ball into his own net to make it 6-1.

But Elton pulled a goal back when they managed to scramble the ball home to make it 6-2.

Then in the final five minutes Lewis Smith scored his second of the game with a superb 'Rabona' Goal to make it 7-2.

Great overall team performance and a cup final on the 13th May to look forward too.
