CB Hounslow United Women 2 vs 1 Camden Town (Womens) Red

It was a cold windy day at Green lane, with CB Hounslow against bottom of the table Regent park.

CB Hounslow started very slowly with Regent park starting very defensively causing problems for CB with the wind behind Regents park a long ball carried forward by the wind, dropped on the edge of the box and a lovely finish into the bottom corner saw the visitors one nil up.

CB Hounslow reacted with a lot of pressure eventually leading to a free kick 35 yards out with the skipper Sasha stepping up and Cooley hitting in smashing the crossbar and bouncing in off the line, 1-1 game on!

Coming out for the 2nd half, it was all CB Hounslow with a barrage of pressure leading to many chances on goal but not finding that last touch until a beautiful piece of play lead to the ball going down the right side and a cross in for Michelle to score a towering header into the side netting!

CB Hounslow carried on to dominate the second half keeping the ball well and enjoying a lot of possession and opportunities deep in the opposition half.

It was a game that required a change of system for us as Regent’s Park were exceptional but every lady out there dug deep and showed we will fight to the bitter end and we walked away with the 3 points
