Cavalier FC 1 vs 2 White Horse 'B'

The only two Chippenham League fixtures that managed to beat the elements both happened to be in Division Three and both went again the formbook. White Horse ‘B’ ending a 6 match winless run and Evans Designs came good to end Calne United’s winning run.

Cavalier had not played since they beat White Horse (Sunday) ‘B’ 7-0 back in December, but Dave Young’s side would have been confident of completing the double over the visitors to Beversbrook as the visitors had not won in six, however it was White Horse who upset the odds with a 2-1 triumph that saw them avenge their earlier drubbing.

White Horse led through a debut goal from Matt Goodall but his 19th minute strike was cancelled out by Roger Wiltshire. Cavalier had, and wasted numerous chances to take a second half lead and they were made to pay for not taking any of them when Goodall popped up to score his second of the morning which proved to be the White Horse winner.
