Sutton United Colts Amber 0 vs 0 Camberley Town Rebels U15

With the torrential rain through the night we were waiting to see if our trip to Sutton was going to fall victim to the weather - but we arrived to find the pitch in good condition and the game was on.

The conditions throughout the first half were very tricky with heavy rain coming down, making it difficult for both teams. Despite seeing a lot of the ball we were not able to convert our chances with Zahir and Erim seeing the best of the chances but could not find the target. Joe who started in goal did very well in the difficult conditions and his handling and kicking were assured.

The 2nd half was very similar to the first and more chances came and went, and we were unable to break the deadlock. Several personnel changes saw fresh legs but we weren't able to breakdown the Sutton defense. Dom had replaced Joe at half time and came up with a couple of excellent saves in the difficult conditions.

The game was made all the more fragmented and frustrating due to the poor referee and although the conditions were wet, the pitch itself was excellent but we couldn't capitalise on the chances we created. Overall it was a disappointing performance with lots to work on.
