Business School F.C. 2 vs 9 The OCG

Steve 'Hastings' Stewart of AC-12 took time off from chasing bent coppers today to referee The BSFC v The OCG. But The Economists were left wishing they could have served him a REG-15 after a monumentally bad decision left The BSFC struggling to fight back against the menace of the County Lines Crime Lords!!!

The OCG began by putting operation Fahrenheit into effect. Their shoot to kill policy left the BSFC shell-shocked and 6 nil down after just 11 minutes!! The Schools defence were leaking like a colindar! Arsene Hedges felt like an IED had gone of in his head and Gary Bibby took charge and went to 4 at the back. The measure of any football team is how they react to adversity and The BSFC showed great character to rise above this body blow and carry out their Line of Duty. At left back Naylor Snr brought composure to the game and combined with Schurle down the wing. The little blonde Shetland pony ran his forlocks off and found himself in the box to score an absolute pearler to open his account! But cries of 'Mother of God' echoed round the ground as referee Steve Stewart pulled the play back for a penalty. Schurle stepped up and lashed it down the middle but the keeper saved it with his legs!! Minutes later and an inspirational free kick from Gary Bibs found Paul Murray on the edge of the box. Murray bent the ball in off the post to leave their keeper no chance. 'Now we' re cooking on gas! 'said the manager. The interval whistle came and molotov cocktails were thrown in Stewarts direction as he sprinted for the tunnel.

HALF TIME BSFC 1 - OCG 7!!!

The 2nd half saw Peach and Mitchell come on and play a calm and solid game. Murray began pulling the strings and Roberts and Richman put the opposition under pressure. Timms set up chances from the right and finally Schurle got his goal with a rocket from 5 yards out!! Pony whisperer Hedges took the credit for his powers of motivation. The Business edged the half but 2 more OCG goals followed.

FINAL SCORE: BSFC 2 - OCG 9!!
