Furness Cs 1 vs 5 Bowland FC Cs

The Reds were finally back in action with a game this week, facing off against Furness Cs on Sunday Morning

However the Reds started slow, with the best chance of an early goal going to the home side, who forced Reuben into an early one on one save, before eventually going 1-0 down following a counter attack, showing the difference in intensity in the first half

After a half time dress down by captain Jacob Austin, Bowland rallied and began created a lot more chances of their own, before debutant Raymond Kwashirai broke in on goal, before being wiped out by the Furness keeper, winning a penalty, which Kayden Parish stuck away to get us level

Momentum was on the side of Bowland now as Lawrence Hopper went on to score 2 goals in less than 5 minutes to completely turn the game on its head, making it 3-1 to Bowland

Changes were made that ended up seeing 6 foot 7 Louie Everitt up front, and he would also get on the scoresheet before getting injured with a worldy strike from James Rist sealing the game once and for all

A solid win even if the performance left a lot to be desired, although on another day we could’ve easily scored double figures
