Bollington JFC Bears 2 vs 5 Cheadle & Gatley Cyclones

Another competitive match - though played in the right manner compared to last week.. Unfortunately this week the result went against us.

A competitive first half saw Bollington recover from a slow start and being 2 - 0 down to level up before half time with goals from Caleb and Noah (again).

Second half seems to become a struggle (both times kicking down the hill) and we have failed to score. We seemed to tire and lose a little focus for a period. However even though there were 3 goals from Cheadle without reply, there were several opportunities for Bollington to at least pull one or two goals back towards the end.

I am extremely pleased with how everyone has played and the effort that is putting in. this season we are in division 2 with a new team - playing against teams that are probably playing very similar teams to those they put out last year. We have competed well so far and as we gell as a team, and I understand players better, I'm sure we'll get that first win under our belts and get on a roll!

As with Chris last week, well done Jacob for turning up despite an injury and playing through the pain barrier.
