BoC F.C. 4 vs 6 Westway Warriors

Couple of random ringers (one from the side of the pitch, one from the oppo) but it was a BoC team with a lot more regulars and a lot less ringers than the last couple of weeks.

We struggled thoughout the game with the youth, enthusiasm and physicality of the oppo, but actually took the lead mid-way through the first half, Puntah rifling in a good low hard shot from a Ben layoff.

But Westway had already forced a series of corners and banged in a quick fire 3 goals before the break, all nice finishes and not much Tys could do about them In fact he had made one great save taking the sting off a shot and Andy clearing off the line.

Second half just became tit-for-tat. We would score one and look like we were getting back into it, only for the oppo to go up the other end and immediately restore their 2 goal advantage, seemingly at will.

Frustrating, but the oppo played well and got some really nice goals.

Positives:

1. Tony is back

2. Ben got 2 goals and 2 assists. We tried to find an excuse to give the MoTM to someone else, but ultimately we couldn't quite do it. ;-)

3. We'll do them next time

Just a reminder - NO GAME NEXT WEEK. We can all "enjoy" England labouring to a draw against Denmark instead.

Ringer A - Qaseeb (bit lightweight, but a kid so we'll let him off)
