BoC F.C. 3 vs 3 Harretons

Last game of the season, and as per tradition the oppo was Harretons.

We started well, kept the ball excellently, didn’t give them a sniff, ringer Erhang knocking in a goal. We also had a penalty appeal for handball waved away, Harretons claiming we had played advantage. Never heard of playing advantage in the area, but there you go,

But somehow towards the end of the half Harretons got back into it, equalising with a header from a corner.

They sneaked another in off the post after a bit of a defensive howler, Rich nearly getting it, but couldn’t quite keep it out.

Sam then produced a delightful long pass, which Paul poked passed the onrushing keeper. And he followed that up by crossing from the right wing and the oppo defender bundled into his own net. So 3-2 up.

Unfortunately, Erhang handled from a corner and their striker rolled it past Sam for 3-3.

Decent game. I kind of thought we should have won, due to the dominant early stages.

Special mention for Paul - 49 goals this season. Amazing stats.
