BoC F.C. 2 vs 2 Fosters

I said before the game to Richie that we had to watch their left winger Manuel and so it proved as he ran onto a perfect through ball and bore down on goal. “Close him down Stu” we shouted, Stu filling in in nets for an ill Tys. But Stu had boots of lead / was glued to his goal line and didn’t close Manuel down, so the striker lifted it over Stu. 0-1. Manuel then assists their other striker, I was wrong side of the striker, 0-2. We had chances at the end of the half and their keeper made two good saves.

Second half, we were better, Tony scrapping well in midfield and Olly scored two fine goals. 2-2.

We hit the post and bar (Olly, Tony) and right at the end they really should have won it, screwing wide with all the goal to aim for and hitting the post despite / because of Rob’s shoulder charge..

So good game, bit ringer heavy, but competitive and probably, just, deserved the draw.
