BoC F.C. 2 vs 0 Fosters

Cold night at Battersea, bare 11, 2 ringers and Fosters never an easy game, it promised to be a good one. And lived up to that promise.

I wasn't quite sure how ringer Olly would settle in, since we had heard he was mostly a 5-a-side player, but we knew we would be safe when he karate kicked me in the chest, early doors!

Tom dispatched ringer Tom with a quick pass and ringer Tom flicked it towards the goal, their goalie got an unconvincing hand to it, but it trickled in. Phew. Too many Toms. 1-0 at the break, but we were in a game.

Second half they really should have equalised, they broke down the right, winger did exactly the right thing, squared it with the defence a bit AWOL and their best player inexplicitly hit it wide with virtually an open goal. There was also a contentious free-kick in a dangerous spot. for a tackle that they interpreted as a foul again on the same player. But they didn't capitalise on that either.

Anyway, we rode all that pressure and Ilyas had the ball in the net with a great finish off the post, after good work by Tony. However, that was unfortunately given offside.

Right on the 60 minutes, Ilyas crossed and ringer Tom banged it into the roof of the net. 2-0 and no time to even restart.

Tough match, great win and another clean sheet.

MotM was Cesar for a great performance., Really got stuck in.
