BoC F.C. 4 vs 0 Cundall

Cundall were a bit short, so ended up being heavily bolstered by Fosters and 5 a side players.

Tight first half, the difference being a good finish from Paul, George with the assist.

Charlie sliced a corner straight out, but the ridiculous turned to the sublime minutes later when, after good work by Paul, Charlie smashed it into the corner of the net. Great finish for 2-0.

We were not having it all our own way though, Tyson pulling off a blinding save to push the ball away from the top corner of his goal , following a well struck free kick.

In fact that was just the first of two goal saving interventions from Tyson, the second a 1-on-1 with their nippy striker that Tyson managed to deflect out for a corner.

The defence were hanging on a bit at this stage, but managed to hold out (not a sentence I write very often) and two further late Paul goals added a gloss to the proceedings.

But 4-0 does not reflect the closeness of the game, in my opinion.

MotM - Tyson just edges Paul. Bit harsh to not get MoTM when you have scored a hattrick, but a rare clean sheet and the quality of 2 of the saves in particular just edged it this time.
