BoC F.C. 2 vs 4 BGC

Once again, we were kept afloat by a good contingent of Fosters ringers.

First half ended 1-1, after Juan's brother scored a good goal apparently (was late and missed it) with BGC replying through a long range shot into the roof of the net. But how we were level was another matter, as we soaked up a tonne of pressure and there were lots of near misses.

We were over-doing it, making runs but then trying a trick and losing the ball, or trying to beat 1 man too many. The oppo looked after the ball well, in contrast.

They also worked out that would have a bit of joy with long balls over the top and a couple of identikit goals early second half soon made it 3-1 - long ball over the top, nippy striker runs on and beats Tyson 1 on 1. So good we let them do it twice.

Charlie hit the bar with an overhead kick, as well. Good effort. Then Juan's brother gave us a bit of hope with a worldie from distance, outside of his left foot, top right corner. Amazing skills.

But they got another, good team goal this one and we finished pretty well beaten to be quite honest.

Need a few regulars back, I think.
