Blues South West U13 2 vs 4 Mid Somerset

Todays game started extremely fast from both sides with quick end to end football. Mid Somerset made their first major chance count to make it 1-0. Blues fought back and made it level early in the second 20 from the penalty spot but then a mistake made from Blues playing out from the back, presenting the ball to Mid Somersets striker clean on goal making it 2-1.

The third quarter was won and well controlled by blues making the score 2-2 and excitingly set up for the final quarter. Blues saw some golden opportunities in the early part of the final quarter, a goal saving tackle from their defender and some top top saves from their goal keeper, blues really piles on the pressure. Mid Somerset were creating chances on the counter and created a few shots fizzed across goal from the left winger. Blues didnt deal with this same player and the next time he scored into the bottom corner.

Blues heads dropped with very little time remaining, pushed bodies forward and again caught on the counterattack with the last action of the game.
