Berocca Juniors 4 vs 11 No Fuchs Given

In old-school Berocca Juniors fashion, the lads were whopped by a very organised outfit.

The opposition overcame the boys through a combination of tricky one-twos and physical gameplay. It turned out that the special arms training didn't really do the lads much good after all. Probably because we didn't have any rolling pins to hand.

After throwing a dummy in the preview, the Juniors actually turned up with eight players, as James Edwards and Ryan Craig were called up last minute by the gaffer. However Craig returned from his bunker with a severe case of tuberculosis, potentially poisoned by a bitter Lancastrian who plays golf full-time. We also suspect James Edwards forgot to take his meds this morning, as his acute arthritis flared up again.

Some comfort can be taken in some of the passing moves that the Juniors strung together, and the two goals scored by Craig and were both well-worked moved. Captain Harri Saunders chipped in with one, but the moment of the night was Will Nicoll's goal. After missing 53 chances earlier on, the sense of relief from a man who would otherwise be on the receiving end of a barrage of abuse from Tom Coulthard was palpable. Good for him.

We almost got used to not losing, but not quite. We're still losers at heart. We still don't give any Fuchs. Just like Pingu here.
