Santos Sports U8’s 5-2 Pilks Panthers

A wet one up at Brookvale today, and a good battle for the boys vs Pilks. We started well, knocking the ball around and scored two quick well worked goals from Abel and Harry, with Luca adding a well taken third. Leo went close with a free kick, and a five-first-time pass move including all outfield players just missed the perfect finish at the end.

Second half was a little bit scrappier, the wet pitch making through balls run out of play for both sides, but the lads were trying the right things and working hard. Pilks came back into the game forcing an unbelievable double save from Ezra. Blake and Oliver were busy putting out attacks and building moves for the front players, using the ball nicely.

Another nice four pass move started from the back was just missing the finish for us, while Pilks scored a couple of good goals. Luca then made a great goal line clearance before completing a hat trick.
