Santos Sports v Heath Rangers

Our 2nd meeting of the season against our Local rivals and it proved to be an absolute cracker.

We spoke to the boys prior to the game as we knew the quality we were up against, the match started quickly with some great passing from both teams until Heath went 1-0 up, we responded quickly some lovely link up play with the 2 Harry’s followed by Abel scoring direct from a corner for us to take the lead. Heath then began to put us under serious pressure playing some great football and took a heavy lead into Half Time.

We sat with the boys at HT and told them to keep at it, the Heath keeper had made a string of incredible saves so we knew we were still in it.

The 2nd half started in deadlock with no further goals for 10 minutes, that’s when it clicked with our defenders and keepers keeping Heath at bay our attackers absolutely capitalised and we scored 4 goals to make it 6-4. Some heroic defensive tackles at the end from Harry L, Blake & Oliver we seen the game out and take away our 1st win against a team that we have always struggled against! Well done to all the boys, coaches are really pleased with the progress we are seeing each game.
