Our 3rd game today in the Halewood league against last years league & cup winners FPA Porto, a team we had been told are very good with academy players within the squad.
The boys started very strong with brilliant link up play causing the opposition problems and taking an early lead. The boys weathered the quality of the opposition and added a couple more to go in at half time 3-0 up.
We started the 2nd half a little more cautious and conceded but that if anything just woke the boys up and we scored another 2. Our opponents got back into the game and scored 2 brilliant goals from counter attacks as our wingers got a little comfortable staying forward and lost their man. A flurry of 3 quick goals at the end seen us finish the game comfortable winners.
A full team performance today with every player contributing in some way, from great save, great tackle, brilliant passing and cute assist to clinical finishes, the boys had it all today!!
