Santos Sports 6-1 Appleton Eagles

First Warrington League game at Brookvale today, the lads looking very smart in their new home kit.

It was a tight first half with both defences on top, some solid tackles from both sides in a really competitive game. Goals from Harry & Leo gave us the edge at half time, with Appleton also scoring a good goal and going close on occasions.

In the second half we had more of the play, with the lads using the spaces better and finishing well, improving on a solid first half. Abel & Leo second half also hit the woodwork.

Blake Leo & Axel were all shifted around in different positions as we rotated but their quality did not drop, working so hard, winning tackles, passing and shooting well. Sandro in goal tidied everything up nicely and was quality building attacks. Oliver - again - so calm and composed at the back. Abel was tenacious, battling well and always looking for the right pass. Harry worked very hard up front, creating chances and some nice finishes.

Another really good team performance building on from last weekend. There could have been 7 player of the match awards today!
