Ballymun utd 2009 0 vs 2 Lusk United

The lads were in home action once again this evening against another tough opponent in Lusk United. The lads in another rut of form hoping to get a crucial 3 points were up against it this evening, Lusk were really awkward in the opening stages ballymun looked a real threat but they just couldn’t put these early chances away, tadhg and cian looked dangerous but had no luck, the #9 of Lusk took the ball from a long ball cut inside our two centre halves and stuck one right in the corner to give the visitors the lead. Another reaction needed from the young mun. Yet again came back strong and knocked on the door numerous times with no end product Rian almost scored an outstanding bicycle kick which just flew past the post it would of been well deserved but it didn’t happen for us. Aaron also coming very close from a corner which also flew past the post., Lusk held on and scored a very scrappy free kick which was the icing on the cake and sealed the points for the visitors. A major change in attitude needed from the young mun.
