Axis of Evil 4 vs 0 Moggill City

Round 2 but first game of the season. Very promising for the season ahead. There was some Barcelona-esque play and also some route 1 play to make England wish it was 1966 again.

Bourke opens the scoring with a left foot effort from inside the box. Fehlhaber comes off the bench to score with his first touch of the season.

The clocks were wound back with the third goal. From a corner Johnny Who has plenty of purchase with his header but is saved on the line from the player on the post which ended up being in vain as the rebound was eventually put away by Phil.

The fourth goal could possible be the best team goal scored by Axis. The ball went from front to back to front to half way back in a passage that would be close to 20-30 passes before Toshy puts in a peach of a cross with Bourke rising highest to head it past the keeper.

There was a number of goal line saves and post hit as Axis played a very attacking 4-1-5 formation looking to put the nail in the coffin.

Axis's back line was tested but rarely troubled with the pairing of new recruit Chucky and Phil were solid.
