With a break in training, Allscott played a development game against Wellington Amatuers U15 and it proved to be a superb showing of football from them.

Dominant on the ball from the first whistle, chances came thick and fast for Andrew Hughes and Kenzie Hevingham.

Whilst Allscott dominated, they would go behind to a goal which came from a rare mistake from Reece Beckett and Freddie Huxley - allowing the speedy Ams striker to tap into an empty net.

Allscott remained calm and forced a leveller before half time through Hughes, who opened his account for the 19/20 season.

The second half belonged to the home side thereafter and it was Evan Adjei, Sam Pearce and debutant Will Lowrey who created chance after chance.

Pearce provided Hughes with his second of the game, seeing the centre forward lob the keeper, before Lowrey would again provide Giles Morgan, who fired in superbly.

The final goal of the game came from a rare source in Beckett, who had been allowed to go forward with minutes left on the clock.

The keeper was left unmarked and tapped home to make it 4-1.
