Meredith without the Cordens
An Affinity match with Meredith without Gary, Ian & Lee didn't seem right but circumstances meant that we had to do this one without them.
A typical battle ensued with Affinity taking their chances better than Meredith in the first half with Josh P finishing well on two occasions taking Affinity in ahead at half time. Mike C had been the victim of some afters and had to go home at half time to get some new contact lenses so Affinity started the second half with 10 men. Meredith got back in the game with a speculative shot just as Mike returned. What followed was reminiscent of the old Affinity, losing shape and some confidence, and two more Meredith goals, their third highly questionable, left a sour taste in the mouth.
No time to mope though as Binley are up next. Man of the match goes to Josh P with two fine finishes and an all round battling performance. Special mention to Jamie and Mike A for their control of the centre of midfield and Steve M for another fine performance in the centre of defence
