After a long layoff of cancelled games AFC Titans had the chance to book a place in the Semi Finals of The District Cup.

Titans started strong against an un organized YMCC side, coming close on a couple of occasions. It was YMCC that drew first blood with a neat through ball that found its way into the Visitors net.

Undeterred The Visitors come back strong but failed to capitalize on some strong pressure. The Home side took control again on the 1/4 hour after a searing clearance from Matty Farrar found The YMCC strikers chin and ricocheted into the back of the Titans goal to make it 2-0.

Titans got back into it just before half time when in form Mick Dougan found the back of the net after some strong play from Anthony Preston & Danny Longley.

HT: 2-1

The second half was pretty even with Titans maybe just edging possession. YMCC pounced on some sloppy play to bag 2 more within 3mins on 60.

Mick Dougan struck again after a Liam Price Through ball to keep the game alive for The Blues at 4-2.

It wasn`t enough as The titans pressed for more and left themselves open at the back. YMCC added a 5th and then a 6th on 90mins after Mick had completed his consolation Hat trick on 85.
